TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LANGUAGE COURSES AT DIVERSLINGVA

The following terms and conditions are an integral part of the contract that Diverslingva concludes with language course participants.

§ 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS

Classes will be held online (via the Internet) using commonly available communicators as agreed by the parties. Classes which have not taken place due to equipment or software malfunctions or technical problems preventing the Listener from connecting to the lecturer at the agreed time shall be deemed to have taken place.

(2) The student confirms that he/she has the necessary equipment for the Internet course, in particular an Internet connection, a working computer with a camera and microphone and the necessary software.

3 “Diverslingva” undertakes to organise lesson activities.

4 “Diverslingva” undertakes to make every effort to provide the highest level of teaching.

(5) In order to make progress in their studies, the Student commits to regular attendance and active engagement in class and to completing assignments and work of their own outside of course hours.

(6) The teaching will take place in the manner agreed by the parties and in accordance with the syllabus agreed by the parties. The number of course participants, the frequency, the meeting times and the length of the course have been agreed and accepted by the parties. Any change to the aforementioned may be made with the consent of Diverslingv.

7 In the event that the designated teacher is unable to teach, the class will be held at a mutually agreed time or another teacher will substitute him/her on an ad hoc basis.

If the lesson is cancelled 24 hours before the lesson, the cancelled lesson can be rescheduled at another mutually agreed time, but the number of cancelled lessons per calendar month cannot exceed 1, otherwise the student is not entitled to reschedule the lesson or to receive a refund. The cancelled lesson must be made up within 2 weeks from the date of the cancellation, and the school must be informed of the cancellation and make-up of the lesson by e-mail: diverslingva@diverslingva.eu, or by telephone: 515981353. If the lesson is not cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the lesson, the student is obliged to cover the costs of the lesson. The above applies only to individual classes.

(9) If a student is absent from a group lesson, he/she is not entitled to make up the lesson.

10 In the event that the minimum number of participants for a group course does not meet, Diverslingva will refund the fees paid by the Listener.

  1. in the event that the Listener withdraws from the course before it has started, the course fee will be refunded minus PLN 200 of operating costs.

12 “Diverslingva” will not refund the cost of any class hours not used by the “Listener” and for any class cancelled by the “Listener” less than 24 hours before the agreed class.

  1. “The Listener” agrees to the processing of his/her personal data contained in this Agreement. The provision of data is voluntary . The controller of the data is Diverslingva. The controller processes personal data lawfully, collects it for designated legitimate purposes and does not subject it to further processing incompatible with those purposes. Data are only collected to the extent that is adequate, necessary and necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed. Furthermore, the controller shall make every effort to protect the processed personal data from unauthorised access by third parties and, in this respect, shall apply organisational and technical security measures at a level adequate to the risks. § 2 Contract conclusion.

Before concluding the Agreement, the Student should take a free online level test available on the Website to determine the language level of the course. In the event that the student continues to study at the School and/or the levels are known, the student does not need to complete the test.

    4. Correctly complete the “Payment Details” form
    5. Check the accuracy of the data entered
    6. Submit the purchase form with the relevant consents ticked
    7. Read and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
    8. Make the purchase by pressing the BUY AND PAY button.Once payment has been made, the Buyer will receive a confirmation of the Contract, which is concluded upon payment of the price, at the e-mail address provided by the Buyer.
