Legal English
Our courses are designed for anyone who would like to learn English used in the wider legal world. The courses are aimed at lawyers, barristers, solicitors, law students and anyone with a keen interest in learning Legal English.
Classes are held over the internet using communication platforms such as Skype, Zoom, MS Teams. The course is no different to live meetings except that you need a computer with a microphone and webcam and an internet connection – that’s all you need to attend a professional English course!
The courses are based on the best textbooks and countless additional materials. Our lecturers are professionals with many years of experience in teaching Legal English courses and numerous successes in preparing students for the TOLES Legal English exam.
We teach individuals and provide online training for law firms nationwide.
We offer courses Legal English:
- individual - one on one with a professional speaker
- in twos, two people of approximately the same level
- in commissioned groups - in larger organised groups.
Topics
Our courses focus on the most important areas of law. We teach up-to-date legal vocabulary, which is then used in practice. We teach correct sentence construction. This is an essential issue in Legalese because legal language uses many different grammatical structures – formal, semi-formal, etc.
Countless conversations and discussions on legal topics will give you familiarity with vocabulary, expressions and the many ways of constructing speech in English. The course is ideal for anyone working in the legal field!!!

We also run preparation courses for the TOLES (Test of Legal English Skills) legal English exam. TOLES can be taken at three levels: Foundation – basic, Higher – intermediate and Advanced. We provide preparation courses for each of these exams. In the course we focus on legal expressions and vocabulary. We teach you how to structure your speeches appropriately and practice on authentic exam materials. We improve your ability to write in English. Sample TOLES exams at all levels are here.
With all the focus on Legal English, we also don’t forget about other aspects of English. We improve and practice general language skills!!!

- Individual classes: 150PLN/60 minutes
- Classes in twos: 80PLN/60 minutes/person
- Group classes on request: price to be agreed
Payment is made monthly based on the number of hours to be taken. The number of classes per week is agreed individually
